THE NEW DISARONNO/DISARONNO VELVET CAKESTAND AND END CAP AT FIUMICINO AIRPORT IN ROME

From March 2022 up through the end of the year we are back on the scene at the Rome Fiumicino Airport with a new type of Disaronno Originale and Disaronno Velvet visibility (“cakestand”) that captures our new DOLCEVITA mood. The idea is to create a unique and distinctive positioning for Disaronno also on the duty free front.
In the same period of the year a Disaronno Originale end cap display will be there, always to heighten brand visibility in an area of massive consumer flow.

ENGINE GIN AT THE ROME FIUMICINO AIRPORT

All during the month of June an Engine display area marked the Rome Fiumicino Airport. A specially branded Fiat 500 automobile and features of Engine’s signature metal container turned this space into an absolutely inviting pole of attraction, one which also included specific tasting occasions – to enjoy the product in neat version, with ice and sage. And to conclude, a special promotion: with the purchase of a bottle of the gin, two complimentary Engine branded glasses.

DUCA DI SALAPARUTA AND FLORIO WITH MINI CAR AT THE PALERMO AIRPORT

Last June a special Duca di Salaparuta and Florio display area was set up at the Falcone Borsellino Airport in Palermo. In particular, a branded mini car served as the means for presenting both the new Duca di Salaparuta wines, as in the Etna Doc, Lavico Rosso and Lavico Bianco line, and the new range of Florio Marsala wines (Marsala Semi Dry Reserve 2015, Marsala Virgin Reserve 2008, Semi Dry Superior Reserve 2007).

FRANCE: DISARONNO/10ème CIEL TERRACE OVERLOOKING THE EIFFEL TOWER

Last April Disaronno was main sponsor of a Pop Up Pullman By 10ème Ciel (Accor Group) terrace event magnificently overlooking the Eiffel Tower. On the menu were 6 special Disaronno Originale and Disaronno Velvet cocktails, and for the launch event some influencers were there on the scene. To proceed also with the Engine brand, the partnership with the Terrace will produce exciting results for another forty days between July and August.

FRANCE: ENGINE PROMOTION FOR WINE SHOPS

We did a promotional incentive for all wine merchants in France (Caviste), offering the chance to win a weekend at the 24 Hours of Le Mans sports car race. The incentive involved all merchants who put in an order for a minimum of 18 bottles of Engine gin and who set up an Engine window display in their store. The merchant who created the best display won the weekend at the 24h Hours of Le Mans.

1st PRIZE AT IKA AWARDS AND AT YOUTUBE WORKS AWARD ITALIA FOR RABARBARO ZUCCA

A first prize for a bitter herbal drink that makes everyone happy (che mette tutti “d’amaro e d’accordo”): that’s what our Rabarbaro Zucca won for the best integrated digital campaign at the 23rd edition of the IKA (Interactive Key Awards) with a multichannel marketing ad designed to relaunch the brand. It’s an objective that Zucca achieved thanks to the collaboration of the Kiwi agency and of The Jackal comedy group, who wrote, directed and starred in the TV commercial.

Rabarbaro Zucca wins You Tube Works Award Italia 2022, in the category The Unskippable.

Duca di Salaparuta aT Decanter World Wine Awards

Excellent awards received by our Duca di Salaparuta wines at the recent Decanter World Wine Awards. We are especially happy for our Calanìca Rosato 2020 winning the Gold Medal and as Value Wine 2022!

Calanica Nero D’avola 2020 |91Aromatic and fresh nose reminiscent of cherry, liquorice and thyme with floral notes. Easy drinking, with a lovely fruit concentration

Calanica Frappato 2020 | 90 – Complex aromas of strawberries, violet and cola with savoury undertones of beetroot. Crisp and crunchy, with a racy acidity

Kados 2020 |90 – Toasty nose of hazelnut, almonds, baked apple and pear, with touches of yellow flowers and honey. Intriguing, very ripe fruit

Calanica Rosato 2020 | 95 – Onion skin colour. The nose is really pretty, cherry blossom and some strawberry with a hint of briary fruit. Lovely lifted fruit on the palate
